Mission of the Department:

The profession of an industrial designer means working with the material world. All objects around a person, from a small pin to space ships, were designed by industrial designers. The task of an industrial designer is to find out optimal solutions that combine the comfort of use and the external aesthetics of the object. The designer should not think in a stereotyped way, he should see alternative ways of solving application tasks, his vision of objects defines the future of the whole society.
The costume design is artistic and project activities to create comfortable, aesthetically expressive clothes for different purposes of traditional and innovative materials using perspective technologies for certain social groups of consumers.

Background:
The year of foundation - 2017, the founder of the Department of PDIMIM Bekk N.V. - as a result of the reorganization of the department "Design", the founder of the Department of Design (1999) Kosov Yu. M.

Disciplines:
- Industrial design: propaedeutics, system design object, materials science in design, delivery and transportation methods, tools and household electrical appliances, visual communication and alphabets in industrial design, constructing and modeling in industrial design, drafting, modeling, jewelry and accessories, the history of design of science and technology, the design of medical equipment, goods for rehabilitation and outside activities, the design of goods for children, ergonomics in industrial design, the basics of production skills, marketing and management in design, work experience internship.

- Costume design: a model of summer accessories, a collection of shoulder garments, a model and constructions of the waist garment, models and constructions of a complete set of clothes, a history of costume, fit and ornaments in design, constructing in costume design, costume technology, materials science in costume design, work experience internship.

- design of accessories.
The department cooperates with the leading enterprises of Novosibirsk, engaged in the development of technology, furniture firms, with the production of jewelry, medical facilities. Students do an internship at these enterprises.

Our graduates work at specialized enterprises, IT technology agencies, technology parks, furniture companies, jewelry firms, design and advertising agencies, the gaming industry and the social sector, and at garment manufacturers.

Significant projects:

the department is a co-founder of the international design festival "Krasny Prospekt", teachers of the department lecture and direct PhD students in foreign universities; teachers and students participate in international exhibitions (one of the last "New Olds", Germany), students under the guidance of teachers are prizewinners of international and all-Russian contests of costume design, accessories, furniture, environmental objects; participate in scientific conferences with the publications. The department actively supports the World Skills movement, it is the base platform for holding regional contests in the competence of "industrial design", it is engaged in the professional growth of experts and participants; among the staff there are both independent experts and a competence manager.

Zakharova Natalia Vladimirovna
Associate Professor, Honored Figure of Textile and Light Industry, Member of the Board of the Russia Designers Association
After graduating in 1969 Kosygin Moscow State Textile Institute, worked as the leading designer of the Novosibirsk House of Models.
Collections prepared by Zakharova, were presented both in the Soviet Union and abroad.
Since 1999 she has been working as an associate professor at Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts.
Under her guidance, graduation projects were realized and won prizes in international contests in Russia and near-abroad countries.

Khlobystova Olga Viktorovna
Senior Lecturer
She has been working at NSUADA since 2007 after graduating from the Novosibirsk Technological Institute of the Moscow State University of Design and Technology.

Proshin Grigory Olegovich
Associate Professor, Member of the Board of the Russia Designers Association
In 1981 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute, with a specialization in art-design.
Since 1981 he worked as the head of the group of designers of the Research Institute of Measuring Instruments. Since 1988, he worked as a senior designer at Central Design Bureau "Tochpribor"
Since 2001, the associate professor of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts, is a practicing designer in the field of industrial, graphic and environmental design for customers in Novosibirsk, Moscow and other Russian cities.
Has patents for industrial design patterns. The portfolio includes about 200 works.

Bekk Maria Vladimirovna

in 2011 graduated from Moscow State University of Design and Technology
in 2013 graduated from the postgraduate course of MSUDT, passed PhD. defense and held PhD in Technical Sciences.
in 2008-2011 she developed collections of accessories, she studies the photo art. She is a prize-winner of international and regional contests for young designers. Authors works were presented at exhibitions in the Museum of Local Lore, Novosibirsk.

in 2011-2013 together with the Museum of History of the Central District of Novosibirsk, 3 exhibitions of works by young designers were organized, as well as the Jubilee Exhibition of the Russia Designers Association. She was a member of the organizing committee for the organization and holding of the international contest of young designers "Siberian couturier".
in 2014 was the organizer of the creative project "Cooperation "
From 2011 to 2018 he is the head of students creative works, presented at international and All-Russian contests.

Since 2017 he is the manager of the competence of "Industrial Design" WorldSkills.
Since 2016 he teaches at NSUADA, and also gives master classes in Russia and abroad.
Since 2015, is engaged in author projects in the field of light design, glassware and furniture. One of the works is exhibited at the German exhibition "New olds".

Khramova Tatiana Yuryevna
Senior Lecturer.
She graduated from the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University in 2005 with a specialization in Technology of Entrepreneurship.
She has work experience in Rosgosstrakh, she worked at the Novosibirsk College of Printing and Information Technologies.
Since 2016, he holds classes in "Management and Marketing in Design" in Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts.
