Background:

Department of construction techniques was founded in 1989. The founder of the department is Molodin Vladimir Viktorovich. Since 1992 the head of the department has been Semikin Pavel Vladimirovich

Educational activity:

The uniqueness of the department of construction techniques is in a large number and variety of professional disciplines, covering almost all the fields in construction industry. In addition to coursework on engineering subjects, the teachers of the department advise 3-d and 5-th year students on architectural course and diploma projects. A laboratory of architectural materials science equipped with modern equipment was established within the framework of the department.

In addition to the academic work provided by the training program, the department takes part in the educational process of the Faculty of Additional Professional Education (FAPE), conducts work on the design and inspection of buildings and structures for various purposes, organizes the training and technological practice of third-year students at factories

Research areas of the department:

·        increase of cold resistance of steel structures;

·        winter concreting technology;

·        improving the methodology for determining the R-value;

·        obtaining building materials with desired properties.

Employees of the department carry out contractual work on the basis of the certificate SRO «Craft union of designers of Siberia», namely:

·        inspection and examination of load-bearing structures and foundations of buildings and structures;

·        execution of engineering sections of working projects of buildings of I and II degrees of responsibility;

·        on-site inspections of enclosing structures at negative temperatures;

·        laboratory tests of building materials and products.

1.     Working draft 16-storey residential building with administrative offices on Kirov str. 27/3.

2.     Working draft 24-storey residential building with administrative offices on Kropotkina str. 273.

3.     Working draft of steel structures of the covered football arena "Zarya" on Sportivnaya str. 2.

4.     Working draft of steel structures of the covered swimming pool «Olympic» on Novogodnyaya str. 20/4

5.     Working draft of strengthen building structures of «Ekspress-prigorod» building on Shamshurina str. 41.
